Compensation GradeELC630 - Hourly Primary LocationBloomington, IN Scheduled Weekly Hours4012-hour night shift Recruiting Start Date02/20/2024 Target Hire Date03/21/2024 Job Description: Communicate with Operators and/or Leads to identify and understand symptoms of machine problemDiagnose root cause of problems with production equipment to determine best solution: electrical or mechanicalConduct Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures, Preventive MaintenanceCommunicate actions taken to repair the machine to Operator and/or LeadMaintain fire and security systemsDemonstrate knowledge of plant and process safety rules, safe operating methods, and good housekeeping standards.Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment, including motor relays, circuit breakers, machine & process controls, and electrical distribution systemsInstall, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery logic systems, PC based systems, and all types of drives and motorsParticipate on Focused Improvement Teams for Continuous Improvement Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. requiredYou must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background checkProficient in electrical/electronic systems repairs & troubleshootingMust be able to work a 12-hour night shift Additional Qualifications:Preferred 5 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar experience or a combination of experience and trainingElectronics Tech Certification and/or advanced training a plusMulti-crafted and competent in hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical repairsProficient in troubleshooting basic electrical circuitsAbility to work and troubleshoot PLCs, ladder logic, and PC based systemsProficient at troubleshooting Servo Motors & related controls, AC/DC drives, stepper motorsClear understanding in process control systems such as: temperature control, pressure control, flow control and PID control loopsAbility to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings/schematics
