The successful candidate will be hard-working, keen to get stuck in and learn and able to attend to plant breakdowns and repairs. The Role - Mechanical Engineer - Conducting Mechanical maintenance on plant breakdowns and repairs - Preventative maintenance tasks as well as being reactive concerning plant breakdowns and repairs - Working on Hydraulic systems - Working on Pneumatic systems - General welding and fabrication - Oxygen/acetylene burning - Bench fitting - Forklift/cherry picker/OHC operation - Carrying out Installation work on machinery and within the factory Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Maintenance Engineer - Previous experience in mechanical maintenance - Hydraulics and pneumatics experience - Basic welding capabilities - A background within a heavy or factory environment is ideal - Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in a mechanical variation - Bench fitting experience is desirable - Oxygen/acetylene burning experience is desirable The Package - Maintenance Engineer - Starting salary up to £33,500 per annum - Overtime available - 3 Rotating shifts Week 1: 6 am-2 pm Mon-Fri, Week 2: 8 pm-6 am Mon-Thurs, Week 3: 1 pm-9 pm Mon-Thurs - Pension - Death in service - Healthcare cash plan scheme About Precision People Precision People is a leading recruitment agency that specializes in sourcing top talent for Engineering, Technical, Sales and Senior Management roles across various industries.
