Seeking a committed professional to join our team in Latham, NY, US as a Commercial Lines Rater in our Commercial Insurance division. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in evaluating risks for small enterprises. Main responsibilities include producing quotes for small business risks using different carrier platforms, for both new customers and policy renewals. If you satisfy the criteria and are enthusiastic about this opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position. Responsibilities: --- Quoting online --- Handling all inquiries from clients promptly and professionally --- Update client/prospect information in the agency management system --- Putting together proposals --- Continuing education (Company Paid) for industry designations Qualifications: --- 2+ years experience in commercial lines insurance --- NYS P&C License required --- Live within 30 miles of Latham NY --- Insurance Designation a plus --- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment About Company: The Heritage Group has been providing insurance services, solutions, and professional advice to businesses and individuals since 1993.
