P6 Scheduler

Description:
Southland Holdings is looking for a experienced P6 Scheduler to join our team on a Construction of 7.6 miles of Florida Turnpike's mainline from four lanes and six lanes to eight lanes from north of SR-804 to north of SR-802. This section includes one express lane and three general tolled lanes in each direction. This project also includes construction of mainline AET toll facilitie and partial reconstruction of the existing Lantana Toll Plaza to accommodate six through lanes. Duties: • Develop, monitor and update integrated project plans and schedules so that projects can be executed in the most efficient manner possible• Prepare baseline schedules and schedule basis documents for approval by project teams• Assess impacts to critical path and near-critical activities, report to project team• Monitor schedule deviations and variances and assist in the developing alternate methods for corrective action• Prepare and provide schedule progress reports, trending charts and schedule analysis on a periodic basis• Assure credibility of the information contained in the schedule• Review schedules with project team members on a regular basis to ensure that accurate and timely data is incorporated in the schedule• Verify schedule integrity and evaluate logic and float paths• Evaluate activity sequences for constructability• Analyze change orders for schedule impacts• Resource load schedules as required by the project team• Perform job-site walks to verify physical progress of scheduled activities• Position will require traveling to jobsites. Qualifications: • Construction/related degree with construction scheduling experience • Excellent computer skills and analytical ability• Experience working with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling • Understanding of construction process• Ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings• Basic Knowledge of contract procedures and principles• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment• Ability to understand construction logic and sequencing of complex projects *Full-Time employee benefits – Competitive pay, Health/Dental/Vision & 401K Match Salary Range $70,000-90,000 Powered by JazzHR
