Job Description: Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Engineer II The ideal candidate will implement and promote Continuous process improvements throughout supply chain; maximizing operation efficiency, generating higher productivity, and yields energy and cost-savings. Strategy is based on three key factors: People, Processes, and Technology. Recognize failures within production and deal with failure, map, analyze, and redesign Supply Chains within both the manufacturing environment as well as movement of procured components from warehouses to production departments. CPI is responsible for the elevation of function and processes throughout the supply chain. Goal minded around process improvement to reduce inefficiencies or weak points in the operation within the production environment and logistics supply chain. To improvement supply chain efficiency, you will be required to: * Drive continuous improvements working with a cross functional team while supporting daily production and troubleshooting. * Establishing sequence of events, supply chain function, subsystem implementation and process workflows. * Auditing bill of materials, labor standards, and establishing cycle times for scheduling and planning purposes, correcting, and editing routing steps, material replenishment and costing for production. * Participate in team studies related to capacity, productivity, and efficiency improvement. * Analyze work in process inventory levels to ensure sustainability of supply chain. * Analyze, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and technologies. * Act as a change agent in the organization by driving change and implementing continuous improvement processes, while utilizing and improving existing methodologies. * Use Lean Manufacturing tools (i.e., value stream mapping, Kaizen, 6S, Gemba walks, root cause problem solving) to identify and develop solutions that drive operational improvement. * Provide production control leadership by mentoring associates in the use of Gimba walkthroughs and data analysis, ensuring transfer of knowledge, and creating a culture of continuous improvement. * Coach, guide, empower, and mentor production artisans and supervisors in the use of Lean manufacturing tools. * Collect and analyze data on plant processes, procedure, and performance using evaluation tools and make recommendations through data analysis to promote improvement to Leadership Team. * Monitor product and process improvement milestones to ensure ontime completion and sustainability. * Analyze, develop, ratify, implement, and standardize manufacturing best practices across the network. * Audit all established Lean Manufacturing processes to ensure sustainability. * Responsible for the expansion of supply chain visibility * Implement supply chain software. * Optimize your supply chain regularly to remain efficient.Required Skills: * Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field, with an emphasis in Lean Manufacturing * 3 -5 years of experience in implementation of operational improvement within the manufacturing environment. * 5+ years within an ERP driven manufacturing environment utilizing subsystems to promote data entry and registration of completed work orders. * Strong communication skills with the ability to facilitate and influence direction. * Knowledge of lean concepts and tools (6S, visual workplace, pull manufacturing, etc.) * Proficient in MS Office Suite, Power BI. * Proficient in Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) by utilizing applicable CI methods, supply chain profits, and revenue increases which is the key value of the lean improvement model. * Lean CI, Six Sigma, Gimba, Theory of Constraints, Dash Boards
