Director of Care MinistriesWe seek an individual passionate about providing spiritual, physical, and emotional care for the body of Christ and reaching the unchurched through counseling ministries. The position requires a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on Biblical Counseling preferred. The candidate's experience and qualifications will determine the pay scale. St. John Bible Church is an unaffiliated church with a rich Mennonite Anabaptist history. Our Church is a community of believers striving to know Christ and to make Him known through word and deed. Our core values are to have a heart for God’s glory, for the Word, for prayer, for the lost, for service, for gratitude, for contentment, integrity, and community. Our desire is to see people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus and discipled into fully devoted followers.With an average attendance of 350 people, we have an active children’s Sunday school and Awana programs. Our youth are discipled through Cub2 and high school small groups. Our post-high school — 20’s ministry is called What Now, and our adult ministry includes a variety of small groups and discipleship groups.Sunday morning worship is culturally relevant in its music, biblically Christ-centered in its preaching, and relevant for all ages. We practice communion once a month and baptisms as required. Our Sunday School is from Cradle to our most senior members, is Word-centric and applicable to life.
