Description:
Packaging Lab Technician requires: 32 hours Must be familiar with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with CAPE, Artios, and CAD is a plus, not required. Self-starter, able to work on own and small teams, seeks out new work and responsibilities is important. Ability to manage time and multiple activities is Packaging Lab Technician duties: Work with suppliers, Package Engineers, Package Testing Engineers, and cross functional team members to drive projects to completion Assist in the design and development of project-related packaging components Assist in the initiation and coordination of plant trials usually by helping to create the trial documents. Creation and maintenance of package testing plans * Assist engineers on Sustainability metrics development and product benchmarking studies usually by gathering data on packaging in market now, or new packaging examples. Require some lifting of cases (up to 35 lbs) for the testing. About 20% of job is doing this type of testing.
