We're seeking a detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to assist in the upkeep of our lobbies, meeting space, and more. Responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, disinfecting, and sanitizing a variety of surfaces and areas in the hotel. You should ideally have experience with cleaning equipment and products, as well as the ability to perform deep cleanings and clean rooms if necessary. This job will work varying hours and reliable transportation is a must as you could be scheduled past 11:30 pm sometimes. Apply now to join our growing team! This position is offering a new hire bonus of $250 paid upon completion of 90 days with no demerits or attendance issues. Responsibilities:• Wax floors and polish furniture.• Remove dust from surfaces.• Maintain lobby restrooms during shift.• Ensure Meeting Spaces are clean and neat.• Clean, vacuum and take out office trash.• Ensure lobby closets are appropriately stocked.• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of guest corridors and landings.• Run amenities to guest rooms. Qualifications:• Reliable transportation is a MUST (schedule may end after 11:30pm occasionally).• Experience as a previous housekeeper/public attendant is preferred.• Graduated high school, received GED, or equivalent.• Possesses a strong work ethic along with time management and interpersonal skills.• This position requires the ability to stand and bend for long periods of time, lift 20 or more pounds, and perform strenuous labor.
