We are a local, family-owned electrical company looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. We currently have an amazing team who works extremely well together and we are looking for someone to add to and join our growing work family. This position is considered an entry level position but has a lot of room for growth. The ideal candidate is someone wanting to hit the ground running, learn everything they can, take that knowledge and grow their career and grow with the company. This person must be a team player but can also work independently. A summary of a successful administrative assistant is to greet clients & vendors, answer the phones, schedule meetings with clients and possibly vendors, schedule the electrical team for jobs, assist with permits, assist in ordering material, keep a clean work area & office, assist management daily with miscellaneous tasks, and more duties along these lines. This role is key to making the business function smooth and efficient. Responsibilities Answer phones Answer clients questions Direct clients/vendors accordingly Reply to Emails professionally Schedule service jobs for the team Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms Maintain a filing system Maintain office supplies Assist with ordering materials Provide general support to visitors Act as the point of contact for clients & vendors Help keep a clean office and shop area Misc Errands Bank Run Pick up/drop off checks Filing permits Food Runs Off-site meeting set up Data Entry Assist in staying on top of the schedule, team, & jobs Responsibilities aren't limited to this list but give you an idea of what we are looking for Requirements Must have reliable transportation Able to use a PC effective & efficiently Have good phone etiquette Have good writing skills Clean & Organized Able to speak fluent English Experience working in an office setting Must be able to multi-task Working knowledge of office equipment like printers and phone systems Must have a GED or a high school diploma Hourly Salary Range $16-$18 hourly Preferred Qualities Knowledge of the following software: Quickbooks Time Microsoft Office Programs (All) Housecall Pro Adobe Pro Teams Docusign Notary Words Per Minute: 60 Benefits – After 90 days Health Insurance Vision Dental 2 PTO Days 1 Week Paid Vacation Yearly (accrual starts after 90 days) Week of Christmas – Paid time off Paid Holidays which include New Years Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day following Thanksgiving New Year’s Eve Powered by JazzHR
