Spray Technician Job Description: Are you passionate about horticulture and experienced in chemical fertilization or pesticide application? Join our team as a Spray Technician! We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a stable work history to work with our commercial customers. As a Spray Technician, you will be responsible for performing applications to turf, trees, and shrubs. Key Responsibilities: Apply chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments to turf, trees, and shrubs according to established procedures.Ensure the safe and effective use of equipment and chemicals, following industry standards and regulations.Collaborate with commercial customers to assess their needs and provide expert advice on horticultural practices.Maintain accurate records of applications, including product usage, weather conditions, and any relevant observations.Monitor and report any issues related to plant health or pest infestations, recommending appropriate solutions.Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and advancements in horticulture to enhance job performance.Work independently and as part of a team to achieve company goals and customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Previous experience in the chemical fertilization or pesticide industry is highly desirable.Strong background in horticulture or a genuine passion for the field.Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.Valid certifications/licenses related to chemical application or horticulture (if applicable). Compensation:The rate of pay is dependent upon previous work experience and any certifications/licenses held. The starting range of pay is $17 - $21 per hour.
