ResponsibilitiesThe Resource Conservation (RC) Process Improvement Engineer (PIE) Leader is responsible for maintaining & improving the Utility Intensity metrics in Water, Fuel, Electric, Waste, and Yield loss. Responsibilities include cost efficiency, continuous improvements on processes, service, and safety. The RC PIE develops mastery of the processes they are assigned to and uses that mastery to deliver improved use ratios, quality, and yield. * Champion the site's Yield Loss and Utility reduction targets as it relates to Water, Fuel, Electric, and Waste * Lead the data system management, including its development, maintenance & leading change management initiatives including required testing programs * Responsible for loss analysis & intensity ratio improvement plan development, plan execution leadership, results tracking, and reporting * Point of Contact for management systems and vendor relationship around the Water Room, Boiler Room, Compressed Air, and represent the facility as the air emissions program element leader * Lead analytical troubleshooting & problem solving on Utility losses * Develop annual operating plan, yield, and fixed budgets. Coach and train others on these as well. * Develop Utilities teams to solve and manage the day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals * Deliver effective change leadership - driving business changes while minimizing people impact * Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist teams to solve operational issues * Motivate team members to achieve plan goals * Understand the fundamental tools & methodologies of the following TPM pillars - FI, AM, PM, EM * Understand the CQV process - Commissioning, Qualification, Verification process * Provide weekly, period, and 'Year to Date' reliability and variability downtime analysis support to the operation * Apply reliability expertise to stabilize and improve the operation, driving variation down and seeking improved metrics through capital, procedural, and operational improvements in both planned and unplanned downtime areas * Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills through leading meetings, facilitating meetings, and preparing written plant communications. * Assist in plant initiatives and direct line supervision as needed. * Administer policies and procedures * Regular and predictable attendance at the work site * Requires regular presence on the plant floor * Requires occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow * Required to work off-shift and weekends as needed to support projects * This role may require some travel (less than 5%) Compensation and Benefits: * The expected compensation range for this position is between $68,000 - $113,850 based on a full-time schedule. * Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary * Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually. * Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. * In addition to salary, PepsiCo offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field * Lean Six Sigma Experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major continuous improvement projects. * 2 + years of manufacturing experience in a consumer products manufacturing operation preferred * Automation and Controls experience a plus * Industrial utility systems knowledge a plus * Self-motivated, results driven and action oriented * Ability to make independent and sound decisions * Ability to conduct assessments and audits and evaluate to measure progress * Effective oral and written communication skills * Understanding of Business Finance principles * Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications * Ability to give and receive constructive feedback * Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-making * Ability to work in a results oriented, challenging environment * Strong leadership with the ability to get results through mentoring others * Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills * This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States * Must have a valid driver's licenseEEO StatementAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
