Employment Type : Intern Job Location: Chicago Supervisor: Mike Glick, Vice President, Global Supply Chain Internship Description : National Safety Apparel, located in Chicago, IL is looking for students pursuing degrees in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or Reporting / Analytics with an interest in Inventory Management & Logistics. Our interns will have the opportunity to work with operators, maintenance, supervisors, and engineers. While the focus is on inventory data and analysis there are opportunities to gain knowledge and practical experience in a wide range of functions in each department . Responsibilities: Material Master Data Development / Clean-up Design for Analytics associated with Inventory Management Assist with strategy development & design for an Enterprise Inventory Management organization Experience/Qualifications: Currently pursuing degrees in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Reporting / Analytics or other similar disciplines with an interest in Inventory Management & Logistics. Strong Excel and database skills. SQL experience a plus.
