The ideal candidate should have robust experience in renewables to complement the Firm’s current energy practice, with a focus on facilities operations and power purchase agreements. Duties:Counsel clients on various renewables projects, emphasizing facilities operations and power purchase agreements.Provide legal advice and representation in litigation matters related to renewables projects.Handle all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial preparation.Conduct legal research and analysis on renewables-related legal issues.Draft and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to renewables projects.Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders. Requirements:10+ years of experience as a Litigation Attorney.Robust experience in renewables, including knowledge of wind, solar, hydroelectric, and fuel cell facilities, smart grid and energy storage, and energy efficiency and demand-side management.Portable book of business. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing of the Bar. Skills:Strong litigation skills, including experience in all aspects of litigation.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Ability to conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.Experience drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements.Client-focused with the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
