Location:Medical Center - Fort WorthDepartment:Psychiatry-IntakeShift:Second Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:40Summary:Provides intake assessments in the Emergency Department and over the phone to determine the appropriate level of care and treatment. Provides family assessments, family therapy, crisis intervention, and telephone triage for psychiatric inpatients, PHP, ER, and discharged patients. Participates in group therapy, multi-disciplinary treatment, diagnostic conferences, and diagnostic interviews. Provides case management services for all patients. Manages patient's mental health benefits and keeps informed of all information regarding the patients treatment and their payor. Available for Intake on-call on as as-needed basis.Education/Experience: Master's level in Social Work or related field Child growth and development education required. Experience in family therapy. Hospital & Pediatric experience (preferred) . Certification/Licensure: Licensed by State of Texas: LMSW, LCSW or LPC Qualified as a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) by the Texas Department of Health. CPR Heartsaver required within 60 days of start date.
