We are seeking a results-driven and experienced individual to join our team as an Operations Lead for our Cider Mill and Bakery operations. Position: Operations Lead - Cider Mill and Bakery Location: Olympia, WA Responsibilities: Lead and oversee daily operations of our Cider Mill and Bakery, ensuring the seamless production and delivery of high-quality products. Develop, implement, and optimize operational policies, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency and uphold product standards. Collaborate with department heads in both the Cider Mill and Bakery to streamline interdepartmental communications and ensure a cohesive and synchronized operational approach. Analyze production and data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall operational performance. Lead and motivate cross-functional teams in both the Cider Mill and Bakery, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and requirements. Monitor inventory levels of cider and bakery ingredients, coordinate with suppliers, and implement inventory control measures. May also be asked to oversee operations of Farm Hands, as well. Collaborate with the leadership team to set operational goals, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on achievements. Identify training needs and provide ongoing development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and competencies. Implement and maintain safety protocols, ensuring a secure working environment for all team members in both the Cider Mill and Bakery. Qualifications: Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the food and beverage industry. Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Excellent leadership and team management abilities, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with team members at all levels. Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements specific to the cider and bakery industry. Proficiency in project management and process optimization. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Benefits: Competitive hourly wage.
