Fluency in English and Spanish is required.Duties:Manage all phases of personal injury cases from intake through trial or settlement.Conduct thorough case investigations to determine liability and damages.Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.Provide exceptional client service, keeping clients informed about the progress of their cases.Requirements:Bilingual (English/Spanish) requiredLawyer in Good Standing to practice law in the state of California8+ years of personal injury experience as a Plaintiff's attorneyExcellent knowledge and understanding of state laws, regulations, and legal procedures about personal injury casesEducation and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to the State Bar of CaliforniaSkills:Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply legal precedents, statutes, and regulationsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProven track record of successful case management and client representationAbility to effectively collaborate and work as part of a teamStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive informationBenefits Offered:12 paid holidays annually10 days of paid vacation annually6 days of sick leave annuallyMedical insurance for enrolled employees (Optional dependent’s coverage available at employee’s cost)Optional Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance plans401(k) with 4% fully vested safe-harbor company matchCommunications stipend for remote employeesTraining and continuing education budgetRegular firm events (happy hours, team building, holiday parties, etc)Laptops are replaced every 3 years.
