Practice Area: Finance - General,Corporate - General,Finance - Project Finance,Corporate - M&A,Corporate - Contract Law, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm is seeking a Renewable Energy Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney in Anchorage. The Renewable Energy Project Development and Finance Associate Attorney will work with clients in the clean energy industry on projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience in the renewable energy industry and familiarity with various agreements such as power purchase agreements, company or asset purchase and sale agreements, hedge contracts, equipment supply contracts, and construction contracts. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Duties:Work with clients in the clean energy industry on renewable energy projectsDraft and review agreements related to project development and financeProvide legal advice and guidance on renewable energy projectsConduct legal research on relevant laws and regulationsAssist with mergers and acquisitions and commercial contracts related to renewable energy projectsCollaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on legal matters Requirements:2-7 years of law firm experience in project development, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial contractsStrong written and oral communication skills Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the State Bar.
