We are beginning to collect applications from candidates and will start the hiring process SPRING 2024. Responsibilities Vary Based on role. Examples below: Maintain physical and computerized records including student cumulative folders, progress, and failure reports, class rosters, schedule changes, and grade books Ensure the daily maintenance of accurate paper-based and computer-based student records following local procedures, state and federal requirements for funding and accountability Process new student records, including requesting transcripts and records from other schools, setting up cumulative folders, and entering student data into appropriate databases. Technology Skills Competence in Microsoft Office applications and ability to use a variety of computer applications and platforms. Ability to use basic office equipment. Knowledge and experience in using a computer-based student Information Management system. Teachers will use regularly leverage our online curriculum to drive student learning. Safety Duties & Responsibilities Every employee of the School has an obligation to know our safety rules and procedures; to teach what they know to others; to recognize unsafe actions and situations; to warn others of unsafe situations; to react to emergency situations and to report hazardous or unsafe practices to those in a position to correct them. Physical Demands Exerts 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or Exerts 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or Prolonged periods of working on a computer. Sufficient vision to read printed material, see distant objects with clarity, and identify and distinguish objects. Sufficient hearing to hear conversations in person and on the telephone, and hear sounds clearly up to 20 feet. Ability to speak English in an understandable voice with sufficient volume to be heard in normal conversation and on the telephone, and in addressing groups. Requires occasional or frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching for extended periods of time. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and is generally a hazard free environment. Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the school and other facilities as needed. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level is low to high and may have frequent interruptions. There may be activity from other employees and students of a distracting nature Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s degree Required Masters degree Preferred Missouri Substitute Certification Required Valid Missouri Teacher Certification content specific to role applied for, Strongly Preferred or willingness to become certified ASAP. 3+ years of teaching experience Preferred Satisfactory completion of criminal records check, pre-hire and annually thereafter, if applicable.
