Practice Area: Corporate - Private Equity,Corporate - M&A, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 7 Years, A law firm in Denver is seeking a Private Equity Resource Attorney with 7+ years of experience in a US private equity corporate/transactional practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with the MA resource attorney and knowledge management team to assist with data and experience input, document preparation, legal research, and knowledge management within the private equity practice group. The Private Equity Resource Attorney will play a crucial role in supporting the private equity practice group by assisting with document preparation, legal research, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects. This position requires strong drafting, communication, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of private equity transactions. Duties:Work with the MA resource attorney and knowledge management team to assist with MA/PE data and experience input and maintenancePrepare drafts (or revise existing precedent) of template documents and curate and organize the PE group’s forms, precedents, and other know-howMonitor legal and regulatory developments relative to private equity practice and the firm’s core industry verticals, and prepare summaries and alertsDevelop and maintain the internal landing page for the PE groupCoordinate with the firm’s legal education team to prepare content for associate training and other firmwide training efforts relative to private equityAssist the marketing team with content creation for pitches, teach-ins, and PE blog posts, tailoring materials to key industry verticalsCollaborate with the quantitative analyst group on matters specific to PE funds and transactionsAssist with fielding day-to-day requests from attorneys for precedents, templates, and other resourcesBe involved in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects Requirements:Licensed attorney with 7+ years of experience in a US private equity corporate/transactional practiceMastery of private equity substantive areas including MA, portfolio company management, partnership-based equity compensation, MA acquisition financing, corporate matters, and financial transactionsStrong drafting, communication, and organizational skillsKnowledge of industries regularly advised by the firmExcellent written and verbal communication and drafting skillsStrong intellectual ability, interpersonal skills, and technical skillsOrganizational and time management skills with attention to detail Benefits offered:Medical, dental, vision, and health and/or dependent care flexible spending accountsHealth savings account (with the applicable medical plan)Pre-tax commuter benefitsLife insurance, ADD, and long-term care coverageBackup care for children and/or adults and other parental support benefits
