The ideal candidate will work closely with the MA resource attorney and knowledge management team to assist with MA/private equity (PE) data and experience input and maintenance, template document preparation, and legal and regulatory developments monitoring. Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills are required. The Private Equity Resource Attorney will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's private equity practice by assisting with various tasks related to MA and private equity transactions, including document drafting, knowledge management, legal research, and training initiatives. This role requires expertise in private equity transactions, strong drafting skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Duties:Work with the MA resource attorney and knowledge management team to assist with MA/PE data and experience input and maintenancePrepare drafts or revise existing precedent of template documentsCurate and organize the PE group's forms, precedents, and other know-howMonitor legal and regulatory developments relative to PE practice and the firm's core industry verticalsDevelop and maintain the internal landing page for the PE groupCoordinate with the firm's legal education team to brainstorm and prepare content for associate trainings and other firmwide training efforts relative to PEAssist the PE/MA marketing team with content creation for pitches, teach-ins, and the PE blogWork with the quantitative analyst group on matters specific to PE funds and sponsor-initiated transactionsAssist resource attorneys in other practice groups on best practices and overlapping initiativesField day-to-day requests from attorneys for precedents, templates, and other resourcesBe involved in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects Requirements:Licensed attorney with 7+ years of experience in a US private equity corporate/transactional practiceMastery of the substantive area of practice undertaken by the Private Equity practice groupKnowledge of the industries regularly advised by the firm Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Skills:Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skillsStrong intellectual ability and technical skillsOrganizational and time management skills; attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication and drafting skills Benefits offered:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account (with applicable medical plan)Health and/or dependent care flexible spending accountsPre-tax commuter benefitsLife insurance and ADDLong-term care coverageBackup care for children and/or adultsOther parental support benefits Creative lawyering in a laid back environment is big draw for associates at this Amlaw firm.
