Please read entire post before applying thank you After School Tutors/ SES Coordinators Needed in the follow Area: Watsonville $8.00-$21.00/Hr starting for 1-on-1 tutoring, up to $16.00-$43.50/Hr for small group (5 to 1) tutoring. Pay Rate depends on prior Education/Work Experience. SES Coordinators KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN EXCELLENT PROGRAM QUALITY ENSURE ALL FEDERAL AND STATE GUIDELINES ARE MET ENSURE SES PROGRAMS ACHIEVE MAXIMUM ENROLLMENT POTENTIAL SELECT, TRAIN AND SUPERVISE SITE COORDINATORS AND TUTORS CREATE AND MAINTAIN HIGH LEVELS OF PARENT AND SCHOOL SATISFACTION THROUGHOUT ALL SITES ATTEND COMPANY MEETINGS AND TRAINING SESSIONS Candidates can choose their own flexible tutoring schedules, choose the geographical area(s) of tutoring (tutoring sessions usually take place near student's home or school) and work with the same students on a weekly basis. Tutoring sessions are usually available after school on weekdays and anytime on weekends. Tutors Candidates must be capable of tutoring students grade K-12 in English Language Arts or Math. Candidates MUST have at least a two-year degree and be able to travel to the student's home, school, local library or one of our centers to tutor. Candidates should be reliable, enjoy working with children, have strong communication skills and are committed to educating and motivating young students. Candidates should have consistent access to the internet, be able to follow directions and be organized with necessary paperwork. Reliable transportation is required. Previous tutoring or teaching experience is helpful, but not required. BILINGUAL (SPANISH/ENGLISH) SKILLS ARE A PLUS. Candidates with Special Education experience also highly desired. Fingerprint, background checks and TB test are required. Candidates should be able to commit for at least 3 months. Current school teachers or substitute teachers are welcome to apply.
