Position Summary: This person is responsible for the appearance of Royal Crest Dairy s company owned vehicles along with the building. His or her job also requires interaction with internal and external customers to answer questions and address issues. This position also requires the repairs and maintenance of shop equipment along with building maintenance and snow removal during winter time period. This position is full-time, paying $11.25 per hour General Purpose: The Lot Tech position is to assist the Garage and its internal and external customers. The up keep and appearance of the vehicles and building allows our customers to perform their duties with out distractions. Assists the Garage Manager in collecting data for analysis. Position responsibilities: * Wash and detail of company vehicles. * Daily fluid checks and tread depth. * Filing DOT work orders and DVIRS. * Up keep of the wash bay and recycle bins. * Maintenance of boxes and coolers. * Safety DOT standards, accidents, injuries, and lock out tag out. Identifying new damage and report it. * Building Trash removal from lots along with snow removal during winter. * Work Schedule 40 hours a week. * Security building along with yard * Communication for both internal and external customers. Essential skills and experience: * Computer skills (excel, word) a long with the ability to understand basic computer functions. * Good oral and written communication skills. Physical demands and work environment: * Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands; visual, auditory, along with lifting requirements that could exceed 50 lbs. * Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a garage service environment * Work hours can include working on weekends, holidays, and night shift hours.
