Work and communicate with U.S. and Korea operations to develop, implement, and enhance IP strategies for CHS, Inc. and its entities. Identify, draft, file and prosecute patent applications for all inventions arising. Provide counsel and advise clients on a broad range of various domestic and international intellectual property issues across the CHS, Inc. business. Provide IP support, including IP strategies leading to transaction opportunities, evaluation of in-licensing opportunities, negotiation support, contract drafting during active transactions. Works closely with the IP Operation Specialist and IP Attorney to develop IP strategies using various types of IP to develop meaningful assets. Ensures that patent filings are of high quality on commercially significant inventions by working with all business managers and executive management both in the U.S. and Korea offices. Prepares high quality patent applications, efficiently advances prosecution of pending patent applications, and manages global patent portfolio to ensure that meaningful protection is obtained. Provides deep patent analysis expertise to support business development, licensing and freedom to practice analyses. Drafts and negotiations IP-related agreements as well as IP specific terms in other agreements. Job Requirements: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school required. Minimum of 7-10 years of Intellectual Property experience in the healthcare or related industry. Bilingual fluency in English and Korean, both oral and written. Healthcare/medical device experience and IP litigation experience. Demonstrated ability to develop process-driven solutions to issues. Detailed understanding of global patent systems, patent process, documentation. Effective analytical, presentation and communication skills. please apply to XXXX@jobkoreausa.com
