Our client, who has been in the pulp and paper business for 75 years, has an immediate need for a Machine Room Operator Trainee to join their team near Dayton, OH. This is a great opportunity to learn the paper business. You ll be trained to operate a specialty pulp line, working with and around heavy machinery, as well as learning quality procedures. This role works as part of a two person team, on a rotating shift schedule. Bring your high school diploma, or equivalent GED, and join our client s team. Prior experience in a paper mill preferred, but prior factory/manufacturing experience a must. Bobcat and forklift certification a plus. You must be self-motivated and thrive in a team environment. Must be able to work swing shift rotations. Our client offers steady work in a great environment, benefits eligibility after 90 days, SIMPLE IRA company contributions, personal days and vacations.
