Career Opportunity: Supplier Delivery Assurance Specialist with Rhinestahl CTS, Cincinnati / Mason, OH Are you the go to person when a problem needs solved? Rhinestahl s Customer Tooling Solutions (CTS) division needs your resourcefulness as part of our Supply Chain team. This is no ordinary administrator position. The value you can bring is knowing what questions need to be asked and when to ask them. Your experience wearing many hats in a small scale manufacturing environment is what sets you apart. We need someone who understands the manufacturing process, and can remove roadblocks to superior performance. Meeting our customers delivery demands only happens when we are able to successfully work with our partners to meet commitments. This requires the ability to understand the big picture and building effective relationships with our suppliers/partners as well as maintaining superior relationships interdepartmentally within our organization. Are you up to the task? As our Contract Administrator, you ll utilize your ability to engage our internal and external partners to ensure optimal On-Time Delivery performance. Additionally, you will: Respond to internal customer requests for product including expedited deliveries Provide recommendations to the Sourcing team based on specific supplier performance & capacity Expedite and incorporate engineering design changes into existing purchase orders Ensure understanding of cost differences to incorporate design changes or expedited delivery, and be able to convey those reasons to appropriate shareholders We are looking for a self-starter with the ability to problem solve, keep up with the workload and adapt to a fast-paced changing environment. You will also need: Associates or Bachelor s degree in an engineering and/or manufacturing related fieldor equivalent military experience 3 -5 years related experience, preferably in asmall scale manufacturing type environment, working with complex machining of complex assemblies; a prior role requiring the wearing of many hats is optimal Demonstrated knowledge of basic manufacturing and routing processes Exceptional problem solving capabilities a must, knowing where and when to pursue additional information Computer knowledge Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, ERP software (Epicor) Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, to maintain accuracy Strong appreciation and understanding of both internal and external partnering relationships, and the ability to leverage those to meet customer needs Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including tact and diplomacy We are proud to be recognized by the Cincinnati Enquirer as one of the Top Work Places of 2013.
