We are seeking a Sanitation Lead (3rd shift) to join our growing team in Portland, Maine. We are seeking individuals to provide top notch sanitation and guidance for a team of associates on the sterilization of all food production equipment. This role ensures staff complies with all company and government health regulations, monitors sanitation supplies, handles the sanitation schedule and production set-up, assembles equipment and works directly with the USDA inspector to ensure compliance. In addition, this position will train staff on proper sanitation procedures and new techniques, as well as provide supervisory input on evaluations and staff development. This is a third shift position (10:30 pm to 7:00 am). If you have a high school education or equivalent and 3-5 years of sanitation experience, this could be the job for you! We are seeking people who can lift weights of up to 50 pounds, have the ability to work in extremely cold, hot and wet environments and can wear SCBA equipment.
