Our client is looking for an experienced Product Manager to help them build their product vision. You will be joining an incredibly talented team of fast-moving, product-oriented data scientists and engineers. You’ll work extremely closely with the founder, data scientists, engineers, and GTM leaders to guide the team. They are looking for their first product leader to bring the founder’s vision to life by developing and managing a product roadmap that takes into consideration their customers’ needs and data capabilities. What you will do: Develop and own the product roadmap and objectives for our data products and demos in partnership with the founder Liaison with all technical teams to ensure alignment on prioritization, communication, and work streams Partner with the business team to assess and integrate external data sources that could improve their products Manage and report progress against project plans and KPIs (including customer growth) to all stakeholders (data science, engineering, and business leaders) Prioritize features and resources to ensure critical data science resources are working on the highest-impact solutions and hitting deadlines Assist in customer meetings to inform roadmap, and business requirements, and vet early outputs Who you are: Pragmatic and commercially minded product manager, interested in getting to actionable insights over methodology or technology Understanding of data science and building data-heavy products (data tables, dashboards, applications, etc.) Experience working closely with both data scientists and engineering Experience building product strategies, roadmaps, plans, and documentation Strong communication, project management, organization, and multi-tasking skills 3+ years of experience with product management, management consulting, or founding a company Industry experience working with consumer and/or CPG companies is a plus Proficient SQL skills, Python is a plus What you get out of it: Ability to shape our client's initial product and technology decisions Fast-moving culture, lots of responsibility and autonomy from day 1 An ever-evolving role that will allow you to touch upon all areas of the company
