Seasonal Grounds Crew Member – Golf Course Racine Country Club is seeking Seasonal Grounds Crew Members to join our team for the upcoming Golf Season. Qualified individuals will have a strong work ethic, be reliable and enjoy working in the outdoors. Prior experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred but not required. The duration for this position is from March through November, with opportunity to return for future seasons. Responsibilities Assist in mowing, edging, and trimming grass on fairways, greens, roughs, and tee boxes. Operate and maintain various grounds maintenance equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including raking bunkers, aerating greens, and repairing divots. Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of golf course grounds, including removing debris and trash. Support the team in special projects, such as tournament setup and landscaping enhancements. Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Qualifications Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of golf course operations and maintenance is a plus. Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment and tools. Physically fit and able to perform strenuous manual labor in an outdoor setting. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
