Here's a breakdown of the job description:Job Overview:Title: Patent Prosecution Associate AttorneyLocation: Raleigh, NCExperience: 2-6 years of legal experienceSpecialization: Intellectual Property, Patent ProsecutionDuties:Draft patent applications and prosecute patents before the USPTO.Conducting patentability and clearance searches.Providing legal advice and support on patent-related matters.Collaborating with clients, inventors, and stakeholders to understand inventions and patent strategies.Analyzing and interpreting patent laws, regulations, and rulings.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Admission to the USPTO.Experience in patent drafting and prosecution.Background in design engineering, preferably with a chip company.Familiarity with networking, software, 3G/4G/5G wireless networks, or similar technologies.Bar licensure in California (preferred).Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.Admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).Skills:Strong legal research and writing skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in legal software and research tools.
