Numerica Corporation is a fast moving, high-tech company with deep expertise in cutting-edge information science. We are inviting talented college students to apply to our 2024 Summer Internship Program. Selected candidates will work alongside Numerica scientists to bring advanced capabilities to our innovative product lines. Successful candidates will be able to perform the duties and responsibilities described below: REQUIREMENTS: Ability and eagerness to quickly develop expertise in unfamiliar areas. Completed coursework in C++ and object-oriented programming . Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Demonstrated ability to quickly develop expertise in unfamiliar areas. Develop active protection radar software. Other duties, as assigned. At the end of the program, interns will be asked to write a report and present a summary of their work. Preference will be given to junior and senior undergraduates and graduate students. U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED Due to the nature of the work performed at Numerica, all applicants must be capable of obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance. At a minimum, this requires that a candidate be a U.S. citizen with a personal history indicating trustworthiness, reliability, and sound judgment (e.g., clean criminal record, no use of illegal drugs, etc.).
