You always conduct yourself with honesty and operate ethically in everything you do.The work you'll do as the Senior Project Electrical Engineer in ourForensics Group will support delivering excellent project results and stellar client experience. This role will require extensive people, communication, and organizational skills, and the ability to continuously prioritize multiple projects.Your areas of responsibility: * Investigates the origin and cause of failures, damages or defects in the electrical fields within industrial, commercial, and residential sites. * Analyzes the failure of electrical systems, determines the cause of failures, evaluates the quality of construction or reviews design or maintenance procedures. * Performs field investigations, leads multi-party examinations and documentation of damaged property. * Researches failure modes as needed and prepares recommendations for repair and/or remediation as appropriate. * Prepares reports and letters outlining the origin and cause of the damages to our clients. * Manages/works on multi-disciplinary teams on large and complex assignments. * Establishes trusted working relationships with clients and interacts socially at mixed engagements with clients.Requirements: * Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering or a related discipline is required * Active PE is required in the state of employment * 5 years' experience evaluating electrical failures in a commercialorindustrial setting preferred * Power systems experience (generators,transformers, switchgear, etc.) is a plus -Electro-mechanical experience is desirable * 25 - 30%+ travel * Ability to work in inclement weather and various environmental conditionsThe pay range for this position is $125,000 to 175,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
