Our portfolio of national and super-regional brands and licensed products includes Hood, Heluva Good, Lactaid, Blue Diamond Almond Breeze, Planet Oat, Hershey's Milk & Milkshakes and more.Job Summary:The AR Analyst is the liaison between Accounts Receivable and Accounting to ensure accuracy of adjustments by researching and analyzing transactions. Other responsibilities include cash application and deduction management of strategic customers as well as special projects including but not limited to AR reporting & auditing.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Cash application and deduction management for specific customers.Research, review and process AR adjustments.Responsible for addressing customer rebates with Sales, Trade Marketing and Pricing Group to ensure accounts are valid and current.Maintain supporting documentation for all adjustments and offsets.Work closely with the Credit Team to share relevant customer payment, deduction and credit balance information.Ensure internal control compliance with all assigned areas and other audit requirements.Supports special projects and performs other duties as assigned by the AR Manager.Extensive usage of Data Warehouse, creating and running reports to support AR business needs.Proactively identify and recommend process improvementsEducation and Experience:--3-5 years Accounts Receivable experience preferably in a consumer products companyAssociate or Bachelor degree in accounting or business preferred or equivalent work experienceProficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and experience working with an ERP systemExperience with SAP a plusSkills and Competencies:----Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a high volume, fast paced environmentGood time management and organization skillsAbility to analyze and resolve issuesDetail orientedPositive Team player attitude--HP Hood is an Equal Opportunity EmployerFemale/Minority/Veteran/Disabled"VERVRAA Federal Contractor"--
