We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of an Admin Scale 6 Legal and insurance Support Assistant , on a 3-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £19.00 per hour PAYE Summary: The Legal and Surveying Support assistant will be responsible for delivering high levels of support linked to the ongoing successful integration & future delivery of the repairs service within the council specifically supporting the Legal repairs and insurance Responsibilities: Providing high quality administrative support to a Service area within Legal repairs and Insurance. Create, manage and maintain databases relevant to the service. Use existing skills in Microsoft Office IT systems to carry out administrative duties in the most efficient and effective manner. Ensure that all duties are undertaken with due regard to confidentiality and compliance with the Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation. Qualifications & Experience: GSCE standard education or equivalent Experience of working within a busy office environment Experience of providing efficient administrative support Significant experience of communicating confidently with managers and colleagues in writing and in person Significant experience in the use of all Microsoft office packages and One Serve.
