The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in defense, particularly in class actions, with deep knowledge of California and federal wage and hour laws.Duties:Handle defense of wage and hour litigation, with a preference for class actions.Prepare and respond to written discovery in wage and hour litigation with minimal supervision.Participate in depositions and motions involving discovery issues.Develop and implement discovery plans effectively.Requirements:Minimum of 4 years of experience in wage and hour litigation defense, preferably with class action experience.Thorough understanding and experience with California and federal wage and hour laws, including overtime and meal/rest periods.Strong deposition experience.Demonstrated ability to draft motions, particularly opposing motions for class certification.Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and convey professionalism and competence.Proven track record of follow-through and attention to detail.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.Skills:Proficient in legal research.Strong writing skills, particularly in drafting legal documents.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Knowledge of litigation software and tools is a plus.
