That includes the quality of their day: to: day lives. Antisocial behaviour and hate crime have a negative impact on many residents, in particular the most vulnerable. That's why we work closely with local communities and a variety of community safety partners to improve the local environment for everyone. The Role: Working as part of a tight: knit team, you'll help to develop and deliver community safety priorities for communities across the borough. A large proportion of your time will be spent working with our most vulnerable residents and people with complex needs. You'll be responsible for developing the ASB Strategy and multi: agency panels and will need to network across the council, as well as with partner agencies, to deliver the strategy and activities to reduce harm and keep people safe. You'll be supported by a ASB Community Development officer and will have access to the expertise of a wider team. Persistence will be key to your success but you'll also have the opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives. You're therefore likely to have a background in community safety or housing and a good understanding of policy, legislation and methodologies relating to crime, antisocial behaviour and crime prevention.
