You are a team player and a self-starter who can get the job done. You have: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a construction office environment Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting Strong organizational, detail-orientation and effective time management skills Understanding of lien releases, project specific insurance, progress billing and project compliance Ability to research information, problem solve and prioritize multiple requests Keen business analytics skills to effectively weigh options and make tough decisions before presenting findings to decision makers Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Initiative to manage time, improve processes and the organization to help increase efficiency and productivity What you’ll be doing As a Project Accountant at ConXtech, you’ll: Work with project managers to create monthly project progress billings Secure project specific insurance certificates for us and our subcontractors When applicable, manage OCIP/CCIP enrollments for us and our subcontractors Focus on data, statistical analysis and reporting to investigate and analyze business performance, provide insights, and drive recommendations to improve performance Acquire lien waivers from vendors File preliminary liens Follow up on payment status with the clients when needed Post incoming payments Input/maintain project budgets Produce weekly cost reports Maintain job files both electronic and hard copy Assist with project managements administrative requirements Where you’ll be working You’ll be working from our fun, commuter friendly Pleasanton, CA headquarters with an option to work a couple days per week remotely from home.
