Summary: We are actively seeking an experienced Word Press Developer with a primary focus on Git Hub-integrated web development for a fixed term contract role (13 months). This role places a significant emphasis on backend and frontend development, specifically in supporting Word Press website, plugins, and migrations. Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and Java Script and working with database technologies such as My SQL, Maria DB and Postgre SQL is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of industry trends and possess hands-on experience with content management systems and block editors (Gutenberg). Strong familiarity with Git/Git Hub is a key requirement, showcasing your ability to collaborate and manage version control effectively across several environments. Expertise in responsive and adaptive design is required, combined with an intimate understanding on the technical aspects of Word Press development. A comprehensive grasp of the entire web development process, from design to deployment, is preferred. What you will do: • Exposure to business stakeholders and management • Experience in eliciting business owner/user requirements and able to develop an execution plan to delivery • Collaborating with web agencies and vendors to ensure successful delivery of new website builds and executing migrations onto our Word Press VIP platform. • Overseeing a portfolio of websites on the Word Press VIP platform, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. • Integrating website analytics and Adobe font technologies into both new and existing websites. • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards. • Strong expertise with web applications, database technologies and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, Java Script, JQuery, web services (REST/SOAP), Python, Ruby, PHP, Powershell, XML, database technologies such as My SQL, Maria DB and Postgre SQL,.
