KAIROS, Inc is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Journeyman/Mid-Level Schedule Analyst with a comprehensive knowledge of Navy business processes, DoD project management experience, and an understanding of acquisition and procurements. Primary Duties: Development/maintenance of multiple project schedules to include: Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development Critical Path/Near Critical Path analysis Perform schedule variance analysis, generate reports using industry standard schedule metrics Evaluate schedule progress against baseline Lead schedule development and status update meetings with required stakeholders Maintain record of scope changes and schedule deviations Analyze schedule change orders for impacts Resource Loading/Leveling of schedules Develop schedule progress, metrics reports and trend charts Integrated Master Plan (IMP) development Skills and Qualifications: Possess an advanced level of understanding of scheduling fundamentals and their application within the Microsoft Project scheduling tool. Possess an intermediate level of familiarization with one or more of the following: Hardware Development System Engineering Software Development DoD Project Management Lifecycle Naval Aviation Platforms Strong customer relations, analytical skills, and documentation skills. Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality. Microsoft office suite proficiency. Specifically, Microsoft Project. Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment Ability to work independently and in a group setting consisting of multiple stakeholders with varying levels of experience and authority. Ability to multi-task and meet competing deliverable deadlines Detail oriented Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues Ability to adapt to evolving technology Education and Experience: Associates degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or related scientific or technical discipline Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Finance or related scientific or technical discipline, preferred Three (3) to Seven (7) years of experience developing/maintaining project schedules DAU Level II Certification or equivalent – Program Management or Business PMI-SP, Microsoft Scheduling Certificate or PMP, preferred Earned Value Management training and/or experience, preferred Project Server Certification or experience, preferred Project Management Office (PMO) experience, preferred Clearance: This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
