Catering & Events Cook/Prep Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Cook/ Prep to be responsible for.food production operations required for each event. The ideal candidate will possess cooking and kitchen background skills in order to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our guests’ satisfaction. Responsibilities/Requirements: Demonstrated 1-2 years’ restaurant cooking experience.Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Must have strong knife skills.Must be able to follow written recipes and order tickets.Outstanding verbal communication and organizational skills.Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.Accuracy and speed in executing tasks.Current knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day.Flexibility with schedule a plus.Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis.Night and weekend availability mandatory.
