JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Registered Nurse - Pediatric Surgical Unit RN - PEDS SURG Full-Time NIGHTS Registered Nurse candidates for the Pediatric Surgical Unit will have the following job responsibilities: The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in a plan of care Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with a pediatric patient, family, and significant others Identifies pediatric patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment. JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Registered Nurse - Pediatric Surgical Unit RN - PEDS SURG Full-Time NIGHTS Registered Nurse candidates for the Pediatric Surgical Unit must meet the following job qualifications: Must have successfully completed an accredited RN program. Must have RN license in the State of Texas, COMPACT nursing state, or have the ability to obtain one. Must have BLS and PALS certifications. Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years as an RN in an acute care hospital environment. Previous pediatrics is preferred.
