Maintenance Technician Shift: Day and Evening | Weekend Rotation Status: Full Time Department: Environmental Services Role Responsibilities: Makes inspections of rooms and performs necessary repair work. Performs preventative maintenance work according to checklist and keeps records of completed inspections. Performs simple electrical repairs. Replaces bulbs and fixtures as needed. Cleans heating/air conditioning unit filters, clothes dryer vents, and ceiling vents according to determined schedule. Maintains tools and supplies necessary for preventative maintenance tasks. Communicates major repair items to the Assistant Director of Environmental Services. Qualified Maintenance Technician candidates will have: High school diploma or GED Vocational course work in plumbing, electrical and general maintenance. HVAC experience, preferred. Must possess good interpersonal skills and be able to work independently. Experience with the elderly, preferred. Must be available for flexible schedule, on call if needed.
