Qualifications: • Not less than a high school education or general equivalency diploma;• At least one (1) year of experience so that with appropriate training service may be provided in thespecific role for which employed;• Effective interpersonal, telephone and written communication skills;• Knowledge of word processing, data entry, filing; and• Meet health and physical requirements. Job Overview: Will help with the department needs Job Functions: • Maintains the student IEP database;• Generates reports from the student IEP database for the Special Education Department;• Gathers and disseminates Special Education records throughout the district;• Manages the transfer of Special Education records between other public school districts in the state;• Monitors and maintains data on discipline of Special Education students; • Maintains confidentiality; and• Assists the Special Education Department with copying, filing, typing, and answering phones.
