Our Bay Area Regional Water/Wastewater Construction Management Team has an opportunity for a talented Office/Field Engineer (OE/FE) to support multiple heavy civil projects in Sunnyvale. The Sunnyvale Cleanwater Program is a long-term capital improvement program to renovate the water pollution control plant through a series of projects through 2027. Strong backlog of future work About being an Office/Field Engineer with Psomas As an Office/Field Engineer you will utilize your expertise to help develop and maintain the project administration records while understanding client goals, establishing effective client relationships, and supporting the team to achieve set goals. Responsibility Highlights for Office/Field Engineer with Psomas Providing technical support of field construction matters Observing on-site construction activities Processing project communications between client, design engineer and contractor Maintaining project files, documents, and as-built schedules Assisting with document interpretation of project plans and specifications Minimum Qualifications for Office/Field Engineer Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Knowledge of the construction process and the ability to read, understand and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to work independently and in a team environment, minimal supervision and manage deadlines Ability to work on-site in a construction trailer or building; ability to walk on uneven surfaces, stand, climb ladders, crawl, stoop, and enter confined spaces; tolerate heat, cold, dirt, odors, and other construction hazards that may exist Preferred Qualifications Office/Field Engineer Prior internship experience and/or relevant experience Engineer In Training (EIT) certification Familiarity with cloud-based Construction Management software Are you ready to join the Psomas team and contribute your unique talents and passions?
