Brayman Construction Corporation, a leading heavy civil and geotechnical contractor with office headquarters in Saxonburg, is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to join our growing team. Our campus includes a fully-equipped gym, available to all Brayman employees 24/7. As a Wellness Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supervising a multi-site worksite wellness program. Your main goal will be to promote health and well-being through the development and implementation of strategic programs that prevent disease, manage chronic conditions, and improve employee well-being. This position will require you to work closely with employees to provide health education classes, wellness challenges, seminars, personal training sessions, group fitness classes, and other wellness initiatives.Duties/Responsibilities: Research, develop and implement wellness initiatives and strategies to improve the health and well-being of employees using preventive means that provide measurable results. Analyze benefit/health data to develop activities based on employee needs and evaluate impact. Establish and manage program goals and budget. Provide one-on-one fitness training programs with employees. Provide group training sessions and fitness classes. Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of all documentation and employee interactions. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: 4-year degree preferred. Appropriate certification for Personal Training and Fitness Instruction (yoga, group fitness classes, personal training etc.). CPR Certificate is required. At least three years of experience in coordinating health and wellness programming is required. Registered dietician is preferred. Experience in a corporate wellness setting preferred. Knowledge of the fundamentals of exercise science and fitness techniques. Understanding of nutrition and diet. Massage Therapy preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead classes effectively. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Must be creative, energetic, organized, and detail-oriented. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Safety Sensitive Position:This is a Safety Sensitive Position requiring work on project sites, including federal projects. Project sites contain various safety hazards associated with heavy construction. This position may also entail project site work at night and on weekends on an as needed basis. This position will be subject to more stringent drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.Special Note:This job description is presented as guidance only.
