Do you Love Singing, Storytelling, and Nurturing Young, Energetic Children??? If so, come and learn more about us. We are looking to hire a Daycare Van Driver. The ideal candidate will be flexible, working a split shift or full-time hours as a Floater / Driver, providing students with the utmost care and service. Title: Daycare Van Driver Pay: $8.00 - $11.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule (rotate with the center director) Hours of Operation: 7:30 AM -4:00 PM Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Our Center pride itself in having the highest standards for our teachers and facilities to provide our students with a safe, exciting, nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide exceptional customer service. Ensure the safety of students and staff in all school activities. Safely drives a Daycare Van on days when school is in session. Transports students, teachers, and others on the school field or activity trips. Inspects the assigned Daycare Van daily before transporting passengers to ensure the Daycare Van is in good, clean, and safe working order. Cleans and refuels Daycare Van as needed. Reports all mechanical deficiencies, traffic violations, or accidents promptly. Maintains order and discipline effectively and courteously among students transported by HLCCA policies and procedures; reports any incidents involving student discipline. Follows procedures to ensure that no child is left alone on the Daycare Van without adult supervision and that all children have departed the Daycare Van at the end of all routes. Inventories Daycare Van emergency, first aid supplies, and equipment; reports needs to the Director. Certification/Licenses: Must have a valid Driver's License. Must pass Background check and Drivers Record checks. Drug screen, CPR/First Aid Certification.
