Quality Improvement Initiative Specialist-Per Diem Remote Work Are you a licensed RN with long-term care, infection prevention, and/or quality improvement experience? Are you looking for part-time, per diem non-clinical work where you can make a positive impact on the quality of healthcare provided to older adults, using education and technical assistance, without providing direct care ? The Per Diem Quality Improvement Specialist will work collaboratively with identified long-term care facilities to implement prescribed Quality Improvement Initiatives which includes c ontacting identified nursing homes and working with facility leadership team to: Select an infection prevention topic for improvement Review action plans and root cause analysis Provide education Work with facility to develop a sustainability plan In addition, the Quality Improvement Specialist will provide technical assistance on other related quality improvement topics such as safe transitions and CDC guidance. This individual will also work in the Healthcentric Advisors customer relationship management (CRM) database updating facility contact information. In addition, all encounters, data submission, and work associated with each facility will be entered in a program-related CRM database. Candidates should have per diem availability for between 10-15 hours of work per week during normal business hours (8am-5pm). Required Education and Experience: An active RN license Expertise and/or experience in: Quality improvement Long-term care Infection prevention Strong IT skills; the ability to quickly learn multiple database systems Proficiency in using remote meeting technology tools such as Zoom Detail and process-oriented, and deadline driven Strong focus on customer service and the ability to communicate with individuals with varying levels of education and experience Full COVID vaccination and influenza vaccination are required. This is currently a remote work position based out of CT, MA, ME, NH, RI, or VT with corporate offices in Providence, RI. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
