Human Resources Intern G.E. Mechanical, LLC is a leading full-service mechanical contractor, headquartered in Vineland, NJ and serves all of South Jersey and parts of Central New Jersey. G.E. Mechanical provides a full range of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, drain cleaning, and environmental services to commercial, industrial, and residential customers. Family operated since 1984, G.E. Mechanical is seeking qualified individuals who want to do well for themselves, do well for the company and grow with us as we continue to provide the superior service and workmanship our clients have come to expect. As a Human Resources Intern, you will work directly with the Human Resources department: Assisting with new hiring onboarding and paperwork (I-9s, new hire reporting, background checks, schedule drug screens, creating new employee files, etc.) Assist in compliance, safety, training, and other company wide initiatives Work with Construction Management Intern on developing a safety training Scheduling training courses and maintain updated log of current certifications Filing, scanning, mailing, and other administrative duties as needed Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information/documents The ideal candidate will be: Detail oriented/organized Familiar with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Familiar with Labor Laws (preferred) Upperclassman (preferred) Must be currently enrolled in a NJ accredited degree / IHE program Internship Requirements Include: 15 hours per week for 10 weeks (schedule will be determined upon hire) Start date: June 2023 End date: August 2023 Salary: $20.00/ hour Website link: https://www.gemechanical.com/applynow G.E.
