Legacy Lifecare, a leading nonprofit provider and manager of values-driven, nonprofit senior care organizations, is seeking an Executive Director for the Stone Rehabilitation and Senior Living (Stone). Stone is a private residential care and skilled nursing facility located in Newton Upper Falls, and offers a unique combination of classic rest home, in the 22-bed the Pettee House, as well as a modern, 82-bed skilled nursing facility. The function of the Executive Director is to ensure the delivery of the best quality care for Stone's residents. In addition, this position will develop, direct, and control facility operations within the bounds of established policies, procedures, programs, and budgets. In addition to Stone, Legacy is affiliated with Deutsches Altenheim of West Roxbury; Chelsea Jewish Lifecare of Chelsea and Peabody; JGS Lifecare of Longmeadow; Armenian Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Jamaica Plain; and the Elizabeth Seton Residence and Marillac Residence of Wellesley. Through Legacy, Stone's Executive Director will have access to resources ordinarily only available to much larger organizations. Further, as Legacy is an organization that strategically prefers to promote from within, there will be opportunities for growth for an individual that demonstrates their capabilities and leadership in this role. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Ensure regulatory compliance with annual surveys Represent both Legacy and Stone both onsite and in the community Maintain regulatory compliance in accordance with state and federal guidelines Assure a safe and pleasant environment for residents, family members and staff Assume responsibility/authority for decisions regarding all aspects of facility operations In conjunction with the finance team and department leaders, creates and manages budget to meet facility needs and goals Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff and medical team Conduct routine inspections of the facility to assure that established policies and procedures are maintained Work in partnership with Stone's Director of Nursing and Legacy's Chief Operating Officer to ensure quality, person-centered care Establish and direct the implementation of written policies and procedures that reflect the goals and objectives of Stone Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Nursing Home Administrator license required Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise professional and administrative staff Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Basic Life Insurance Voluntary Insurance (Accident, LTD, STD, Whole Life Insurance) 403(b) Retirement Plan Tuition Assistance Flexible Spending Account Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Inclusive company culture Legacy Lifecare conducts extensive background checks and professional references are required for all potential employees.
