Senior Manufacturing Engineer FNA Group is a world class manufacturer of pressure washers and other outdoor power equipment. We are currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role you will oversee the daily operations of production and manufacturing to ensure policies and procedures are followed. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will develop processes that maximize quality, productivity and safety, and drive continuous improvement and optimization, while providing leadership for the Manufacturing and Maintenance teams. Duties and Responsibilities: Develops systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets, to ensure effective return on assets. Increases production, assets capacity and flexibility, while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards. Allocates and utilizes resources effectively to produce optimal results. Collects and analyzes data to find places of waste or overtime. Performs inspections of product throughout production cycle. Maintains and modifies PLC-based automated conveyor systems, HMI's and drive systems. Performs low-level software development and documentation for Beckhoff PLC controls. Troubleshoots networks (Ethernet, Device Net, etc.). Develops Ignition logic. Interprets quality control philosophy to key personnel within the company. Determines key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of warehouse operations and continually assesses the results. Maintains an open dialogue with other engineers and managers to coordinate activities, resolve problems and improve performance/productivity. Other duties as may be assigned. Preferred Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of Ignition programming and troubleshooting, automation technology, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and/or manufacturing processes. Practiced with metal fabrication, including laser nesting, CNC press brake, welding, bending and punching. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, experienced in handling several projects simultaneously. Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Team leadership skills with the ability to convey a vision and drive results. Adept with decision-making, root cause analysis and problem-solving. Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives. Solid understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business management principles. Proficient with databases, software development and Microsoft Office Suite. Previous experience in the Outdoor Power Equipment or Power Tools industry is a plus. Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline. 5 years of experience in Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering environment. 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
