Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager

Summary: Responsible for all aspects of commercial portfolio management as it relates to assigned portfolio loans together with attracting, developing and cross selling of other deposit and commercial banking relationships in an assigned market. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Financial Management or related field. Licenses/Certifications: Valid Ohio Driver's License. Experience: Previous experience managing business banking and/or commercial relationships preferred. Formal credit training or equivalent credit risk experience preferred. Underwriting experience preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Essential Functions: A: Job Specific: Collects and files required financial documents needed to complete financial analysis. Works with the lenders and the credit team to prepare loan request(s) from prospects/clients. Tracks and starts annual renewal process for existing lines of credit. Tracks and assists commercial lending team with delinquent loans. Contacts clients to collect payments and/or information to refinance/renewal existing loan. Goes on calls with Business Bankers and Market Managers to meet existing clients and generate new relationships. Collects monthly borrowing base reports and reviews for accuracy with supporting documentation. Assists with floor plan monitoring and documentation. Assists commercial credit department with annual reviews. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: The ability to communicate effectively and clearly, both in verbal and written communications. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of the business area that is being supported. Self-directed and motivated. The ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills: the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. The ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. The ability to calculate figures as it relates to accounting/lending processes. The ability to understand cash flows and analyze financial statements. The ability to build new client business and provide a positive client experience . The ability to read, analyze and comprehend journals, audit reports, regulations and legal documents.
